Success stories
Before choosing a tutor for their children, parents often ask about success rates. It's obviously very difficult to guarantee that a student will get a certain grade in his or her exams as so many factors are involved: how bright is the student, does he or she study hard, how much time is left before the exams, etc.
However, actions such as keeping up with the course as it goes along, starting to revise early, working on plenty of past exam papers, and in general being conscientious will definitely improve your child's grade.
Here's some feedback we received from former students:
Maria
"Dear Shola, Just a note to say thank you so much for all your help over the past year with Chemistry. I really appreciate it. I'm still in shock about my grade, and I wouldn't have got it without your help so thank you. My mum screamed when she saw my result...she was so surprised!"
The above note was received after Maria achieved a 7 (maximum score) in the International Baccalaureate exam. When we started working together in November, Maria's average scores were 4s and she had been predicted a 5 for her final result. Her high score meant she was able to accept a place at UCL to study medicine.
